Aims of the Society

The goal of the Society is to associate physicians and medical personnel interested in sports traumatology and arthroscopy and to defend their interests. The Society sponsors many educational campaigns and programs, including national congresses, special-theme courses or symposia.

One of the main goals of the Society also includes communication with health insurance companies, with the aim of improving reimbursement conditions for arthroscopic procedures in the Czech Republic. The SSTA actively co-operates on the international level with other national arthroscopic societies (The Slovak Society for Arthroscopy and Sports Traumatology, AGA, ESSKA 2000, EFOST).
